For those complaining about the lack of control with hashtag#GenAI, I am glad to introduce the Alpha of BLENDBOX ( blendbox.ai ) by Blockade Labs. I got lucky enough to get my hands on the product a little before you did (thank you Marguerite deCourcelle) and put together this little timelapse of me working on the platform. All I can say for now is that this is really promising and once a few more features are shipped, it will definitely be an important actor in the space. Here as you can see in the video, I am going through a creation process, adding layers, generating elements, re-arranging, etc... and then proceed to upload the result in hashtag#magnificAI and finally hashtag#minimax for animation (I would have gotten a better result if I had spent a little more time on it, but this is a good first run)
A few things about the product itself
- It works with layers, meaning you can add, remove, and reorganize objects
- You have style presets to influence your generation and overall result
- It currently doesn't support uploading images but my understanding is that it will be in a few weeks
- It feels pretty natural to use
I am looking forward to seeing it improve, add features like brushes, real-time 3D model imports, LoRAs and what not which will definitely make it a gamechanger
